You Learn Something New Everyday

I was playing around with Microsoft Word 2007 and to my surprise found that you can use it to publish blogs. I don’t know if this is new in Word 2007 but it is the first time that I have noticed it. I am using it to write this post. Usually I use Live Writer to write my blogs (and probably still will). When I first started the blog template, Word wanted me to register my blog. It had a list of the common blog sites to choose from. It also let me configure a picture server if I had one. Word doesn’t give you a preview of what you blog will look like with your site’s style like Live Writer does but it does have the ribbons you have come to love in Office 2007. There is a Publish Button. So if you can read this, then the publish functionality works!!!!
